Our topic will be: Everything You Wanted to Know About Special Needs Trusts, But Didn’t Think to Ask!
This is a one-of-a-kind presentation from professional trustees with 20 years combined experience managing Special Needs Trusts, with a particular expertise in Special Needs Pooled Trusts. Join Joan McGrath, Executive Director, and Kathy Vitello, Director of Operations, with Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, for a comprehensive look at how Special Needs Trusts (SNTs) can benefit people of all ages, regardless of their type of disability. Combined with support services, SNTs can play an important role in a beneficiary’s quality of life. Incorporated in 1971, PLAN of MA & RI, can help you assist your clients by being well-informed about every option available to protect public benefits, preserve assets and live well.

Preserve Assets, Protect Benefits, Live Well…We are Planned Lifetime Assistance Network (PLAN) of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Inc. Our mission is to provide quality trustee/fiduciary services to individuals and their families through sound and thoughtful trust administration and compassionate, caring social service support serving individuals with mental health, developmental, and physical disabilities of all ages in MA and RI communities. We offer trusts that can be funded by individuals for themselves, called first party trusts, and trusts that can be funded by others for an individual with special needs, called third-party trusts. As a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization we are able to provide pooled special needs trusts that protect benefits and offer service coordination by licensed social workers.
